Cozy Reflection
Peaceful Mindful Experience
Presented by
Elizabeth Terrell, L.Ac, MSOM
The Theme:
A purposeful blend of Zen Japanese and Danish lifestyles designed to help you slow down, reconnect and recover. Embracing the beauty of simplicity and imperfection within a nurturing harmonious loving space.
Sabi is the Zen Japanese description of things that are aged and/or imperfect.
Hygge is the Danish description of the feeling of warm, loving contentment.
The Sabi Hygge experience is a Zen retreat and sacred space for women. It is a sanctuary for deep rest, renewal and connection in community in the spirit of growth and inclusivity.
Sabi Hygge begins in the anticipation of healing, the desire to find connection with one’s deeper self.
Situated at the Zen House, guests will be welcomed into tranquil yet imperfect space featuring the beautiful seasonal nature of Iowa. The Zen House is a serene oasis in the bustle of the metro area. Situated on an acreage in the suburbs, the land invites you to cultivate your connection to nature.
Sabi Hygge has been developed by Elizabeth Terrell, L.Ac. MSOM over many years of contemplation and imagination. Elizabeth has been an Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Healer for 30 years. She brings her experience and passion for health and wholeness to this adventure in self-healing and discovery.
The Experience:
A limited of invited guests will be guided thru a few hours of experiences designed to soften, nourish and support one’s spiritual wellness.
Your experience starts upon arrival at the Zen House, embracing the quiet natural setting and peaceful home.
We will transition to a simple meal and tea ritual to set the space and ground our minds and bodies.
From there, you will be encouraged to engage in journaling, puzzles, crafts and personal reflection. Your fellow guests will add a communal sense of support and purpose.
