The Zen house has been created as a unique tranquil warm peaceful retreat from busy lives.

A place for small groups of people to bond and explore their creativity.

Designed to slow down, reconnect with oneself, and embrace the beauty of imperfection and simplicity, all within a nurturing loving space.

It is more than a place, it's a gentle way of being. Rooted in the Japanese Zen and Danish ideal of Hygge, this space honors simplicity, beauty, nature, quiet connection, mindfulness and coziness. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Environment

Located on small acreage surrounded by nature in a peaceful suburban neighboorhood

The Zen House is a beautifully renovated 1955 homestead.  The house is a quaint mid-century ranch, surrounded by perennial gardens.  It sits up on a hill away from the street, tucked in amongst mature trees. Out back the deck overlooks a quaint lotus lily filled pond home to gentle creatures.  The house blends original mid-century charm with modern Asian decor.  Cool and quiet in the summer.  Winter warmth provided by sunny windows, radiant floors and a quiet pellet stove.  A hot stone dry/wet sauna is available for use. It overlooks the backyard zen garden & pond.

The land and home are completely organic and bio-diverse. The space has been designed to provide variety of wellness and mindfully based experiences.
